Speaker: Julie Stanton, BCH, SoulCollage® Facilitator.
The workshop will introduce the participant to SoulCollage® as a creative process to self-discovery and self-acceptance. This creative and fun process focuses on using the right side of our brain which invites imagination, intuition, and consciousness of self.
Participants will use pictures from magazines, personal photos, and personal artwork to create a deck of collage cards. Each card will reflect a part of the individual's inner self, called a Suit. A diagram of the Suits will be provided so participates can identify, develop, and organize their own SoulCollage® Deck. As a rule of SoulCollage®, to focus on creating from the right side of our brain, these images do not contain words.
As a SoulCollage® Facilitator, Julie will help guide participants to discover their unique self while providing an environment that supports creativity and is safe for each person to express her or his exceptional soul.
- All materials will be provided at the workshop, including: scissors, glue sticks, cutting mats, cutting blades, 4x6 mat board cards, clear protective sleeves, and magazines.
- Participants are welcome to bring personal pictures, images without words, personal artwork, and their own art supplies.
