Family Bereavement Services

While grief is natural and exptected after a significan loss, one can never define a 'normal' grief process.  The death of a loved one can be overwhelming; everyone differs in their coping process. The hospice bereavement program is designed to help define individual grieving processes and help healing and adjustment take place.

In order to help healing and adjustment to take place, MVH's Family Bereavement Services include one on one support, support groups and educational materials.

Community Bereavement Services

In addition to offering services to patient families, The Center for Grief Services extends bereavement counseling to members of the community. The Center offers education, group support and individual counseling as well as outreach and support to schools and other professionals.
